'the chicken coop"
taylor and i have been thinking of starting a chicken business
selling and hatching chickens!
(that's if i don't get emotionally attached to them when they hatch)
meet our oldest road island red rooster
he is one of the 3 breed chickens we have
his name is"Godzilla"
why? the first day we meet him he was by far the biggest chicken i had ever seen so the name just popped in my head. his spur (back toe nail) is about 3 inches long. WOW!
this is also a breed we have :barred rock:
she is a beautiful hen the rooster barred rock are even beautiful
she has no name
looking to get more breeds.
THE HOME OF THIS FABULOUS CHICKENS

this is the home,safe from animals and rain, keeps them warm and cozy
this is the home of the small chicks when they hatch they will go straight into here before they hang with the big chickens.
they have a heat lamp in here to keep them warm
the out of place object in the pic does not go there

when the chickens lay the eggs, we go get the eggs, we sell them and hatch them and even eat them (not me)
this is a batch of fresh eggs, they will go straight to the incubator.
baby chicks are due march 4th YAY.
